Jameson introduced the first fiberglass lay-up sticks in 1956 to meet the needs of telecommunication linemen. The strength and durability of fiberglass proved indispensable and replaced wooden poles as the industry standard. Since that time, our product line has expanded to include a variety of pole configurations, tools and accessories to meet the needs of telecommunication, CATV linemen, professional arborists and landscapers.
JE Series Foam Core Poles are preferred for aerial construction and line clearance because the foam core prevents moisture build up inside the pole and adds extra hoop strength and rigidity. For tree trimming, professional arborists choose FG Series Hollow Core Poles, which are lighter than the JE Series, yet offer exceptional bending strength. Landscapers like the light duty Landscape Series Poles that has a hollow core and thinner wall, resulting in a lighter, more flexible pole.
