In the early 1950s, Jameson began as a partnership between two manufacturers’ representatives, James C. Crates and W.G. Pearson, calling on rural electric, telephone and power utility customers.
With the introduction of fiberglass hot sticks, pruner poles and lay-up sticks to utilities across the United States, Jameson set the path for innovative products.
The first continuous fiberglass conduit rodder was manufactured in the U.S. by Jameson in 1980, starting The Buddy® System line of products.
A standard with telecommunication and CATV companies, Jameson splicer tools are a complement to the glow fish rods for inside wiring.
In 1980 a unique work light was introduced that offered greater light output and extreme durability. Today’s lighting line up continues to evolve into a comprehensive array of products for the construction and military markets.
