SALES MANAGER

 We have an immediate need for a talented and energetic Sales Manager to join our team.  This person will plan, organize, and work assigned market(s) and channel(s) to meet sales, marketing, financial, and corporate growth objectives by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

Responsible for maintaining relationships with existing accounts, increasing sales to such accounts, finding new accounts and developing profitable relationships

National travel and heavy communication by telephone, e-mail, mail, fax, etc. is essential and required 

Supports sales growth and account management initiatives across all Jameson markets - both commercial and government - as assigned

Recommends, plans, and attends trade shows within assigned and other markets

Analyzes markets, accounts, forecasts, budgets, and trends, makes recommendations for improvements.  Prepares periodic reports on all such activities

Assists Executive sales leadership with overall sales, marketing and planning activities in all assigned market areas

Required to be in the office during normal office hours when there is no company travel

Required to provide written detailed reporting of sales activity on a weekly basis

QUALIFICATIONS  To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  SKILLS and EXPERIENCE

  • 5-7 years minimum experience with direct selling of manufactured tools and   products and working knowledge of and experience with distribution channels             preferred
  • Exposure to and experience with commercial, retail and government market channels highly desirable
  • Product sales experience
  • Proficient Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Superior communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Must be willing to travel up to 50% 

EDUCATION

  • Bachelors degree preferred
